These is my favourite Doctor Who episodes ever TOO!!!!!
30 Day Doctor Who Challenge- Favourite 2 part adventure
The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit
These episodes are just beautiful. I love the colours and the feel of the episodes. The story terrified me. And I love how the relationship between the Doctor and Rose is developed. You see that the Doctor absolutely and completely believes in Rose Tyler, he’s devoted to her and she is to him.
These are my favourite Doctor Who episodes ever. I can’t find fault.
(And if I may, I own the fanlistings to these episodes so I’m going to pimp them out Impossible Planet Satan Pit. Join if you love these episodes! If you want to know more about Fanlistings go to The Fanlistings.org )
Decades, even centuries later he still remembers her. He still thinks of her. Maybe not every day but still often. He remembers her voice and her laugh and how she would smile even at his most terrible jokes. Sometimes he even imagines her sitting in the console room the way she always would, trying to look like she wasn’t watching him. He also tries desperately to push to the back of his mind the thought that, in her timeline at least, Rose Tyler was no longer around, no longer living that adventure he could never have and had stopped smiling at anyone’s terrible jokes.

“Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun is expected to emit over its entire life span.”
The Doctor kicking some doors down. Because the sonic screwdriver just isn’t enough when Rose is in danger.
“Of course he’s saying ‘I love you’, of course he is. Even though we can’t hear it, of course he’s saying ‘I love you’” Julie Gardner
I love that Rose completely just gets the Doctor’s time war angst, and doesn’t ever want him to be lonely. Some may interpret this as being clingy, but it’s not that at all. As Donna said, the Doctor needs someone and Rose knows this. She doesn’t want him to be left alone again.
The Doctor getting angry and shouting at things because Rose is in danger.
Favourite Doctor/Rose Moments in no particular order: “I believe in her”
This isn’t just one of my favourite Doctor/Rose scenes, but one of my favourite scenes in all of Doctor Who. Pantheon means either all the gods of a religion, or a group of respected and famous people. And in 900 years of life the Doctor has met a lot of people, there’s probably billions of religions in the universe, but out of all that, the one thing he has faith in is Rose.
FAVOURITE DOCTOR/ROSE MOMENTS: “Why don’t you ask her yourself?”
I know this scene is giffed to death, but it one of my favourite ever and always gives me all the feels. ALL OF THEM. Whenever I watch it my heart literally goes crazy. And I always have to pause it before that Dalek appears. Just look at those smiles! This is the happiest they’ve been in a long while.
AU Meme // The Doctor and Craig watch the London Olympics
requested by my mindThe Olympic fanfare began to play on the tv in Craig’s living room, where he and the Doctor sat as they babysat Stormageddon—no, Alfie, the Doctor reminded himself—one night.
“Oh, look, Craig! That’s me! Well, before I became me, but that’s who I used to be!” said The Doctor suddenly, waving a pointed finger at the screen, arm flailing wildly as he did so.
”I know. Head bump thing, remember?” Craig replied, pointing to his forehead.
“Right, right,” he replied, nodding along. “Great story, that was. This little girl was possessed by this alien, you know, an immature Isolus, and when she drew people they were trapped inside paper. Anyway, she drew me and the TARDIS, got me stuck in paper, and my companion at the time, fantastic girl—no, woman—named Rose—”
As he said her name, it was as though the memories flooded his mind. Never say never ever, he remembered, images of Torchwood and Bad Wolf Bay flooding his mind. It was as though someone had plunged a knife into his hearts. I suppose, in the end, they break my heart. It was bittersweet—Rose, in the parallel world with the other Doctor, safe. Where she should be.
“She’s in a parallel world now, but she’s working for Torchwood, still being absolutely fantastic. I even gave them a bit of the TARDIS if they wanted to grow one of their own. Rose Tyler. Defender of the Earth,” he said softly. He looked to Craig and smiled. Both he and Alfie were fast asleep. “Sleep well then.”
